Protinus IT wins tender for software delivery to the Municipality of Dronten
Houten - The municipality of Dronten has selected Protinus IT as the contractor for the supply of software licenses and related services. Protinus IT will act as the central point of contact for all software-related matters and will support the municipality in the purchase and management of software.

As a contractor, Protinus is responsible for supplying licenses and/or usage rights and providing software services for the municipality of Dronten. This includes support with software purchases, providing specialist knowledge about software, realizing financial benefits for the municipality of Dronten, and relieving the internal organization of any concerns in this area.
The tender comprises three categories of software:
- Standard software: General applications such as Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe.
- Organization-wide software: Software that supports the municipality’s core processes, such as the Djuma case management system and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Industry-specific software: Software for specific sectors, such as systems for issuing passports and managing basic registrations.
The Nexusonline customer portal played an important role in the selection of a supplier. The portal provides the municipality with insight, ensures efficiency, and reduces the administrative burden.
The framework agreement will have an initial term of two years with two options to extend for a period of 24 months. The estimated value of the total period, including extensions, is €20,000,000.
