NS awards Standard IT Hardware tender to Protinus IT in

Protinus IT has won the NS contract for the supply of Standard IT Hardware. The aim of this contract is to acquire all possible workplace ICT products at competitive market rates. The initial term of the contract is four years, with an option to extend for a further four years. The estimated contract value is 90 million euros.

The contract covers the supply of a wide range of IT hardware that is essential for modern working environments and specifically for NS employees:

  • Mobile devices such as phones, tablets, smartwatches, scanners, payment terminals, mobile digital ticket machines
  • Laptops, desktops and monitors
  • Peripherals and accessories: including cases, webcams, mice
  • Specials: including Braille equipment, rackmount equipment, network equipment
  • OEM software and optional services

An important core value of this tender is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Since its foundation 15 years ago, Protinus IT has focused on all aspects of CSR, thereby amply meeting quality requirements in this area. This is evident from the fact that Protinus IT has achieved one of the highest scores ever in the EcoVadis Platinum certification.
