Working at Protinus
Working at Protinus IT is much more than just a job in IT. You become part of a company that does things a little differently in this market. Together, we offer our clients the best IT solutions. Because we believe that's what they deserve.
If you would like to be part of this somewhat unconventional but highly motivated team, work in a vibrant culture and for clients such as the central government, local authorities, various government agencies and large corporate enterprises, please respond by sending an email to the HR department: hr@protinus.nl. Account Executive Hardware
You don’t win deals by clicking “send”.
You win by calling, connecting and playing the game smartly. That’s why we’re looking for you: an Account Executive Hardware who thinks in terms of action, works with an overview and plays to win.
Your day starts with coffee and a phone call to a regular customer. You don’t write quotations routinely, but with precision. You negotiate smartly, liaise with suppliers and manufacturers from our partner network, and spot opportunities before others do. While others are still deliberating over an email, you’ve already made the call. Because that’s how you keep the game moving – and that’s how you win together.
What are you going to do?
- JYou are the director of your deals: you steer the process – from customer enquiry to contract.
- You make smart use of framework agreements: you immediately recognise opportunities, seize them and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
- You liaise with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiate hard and work together to deliver the best hardware solutions.
- You ensure that quotations are more than just a price: you translate the request into a solution that is both appropriate and convincing.
- You develop relationships into partnerships: customer satisfaction always comes first, profits will follow naturally.
Account Executive
A flying start in IT sales – with a view of the water and rapid growth.
Monday morning. Fresh coffee. The phone rings. A customer is looking for a solution for a new project: extra workstations, smart software and someone to help implement it. You spring into action: you arrange a supplier, consult with a specialist and draw up a quotation. By lunchtime, you have a plan that works – and the deal is almost done.
That feeling – switching gears quickly, fixing things, helping people – that’s what you live for. At Protinus IT, you learn the sales profession in practice. Not by observing, but by participating. In the middle of the largest IT partner network in the Netherlands, where you grow by doing: learning, trying, making mistakes and getting better and better.
What are you going to do?
- You are the link between customers, suppliers and colleagues – ensuring that agreements are honoured and the game keeps moving.
- You work on framework contracts: handling requests, offering solutions and meeting deadlines – always with an eye for quality.
- You create clear and compelling quotations so that customers get exactly what they need.
- You spot opportunities before others do and switch gears quickly to help customers move forward.
- You build relationships that go beyond the deal: customer satisfaction is just as important to you as winning.
Bid Manager
We win. Often. But with you, we win everything!
That’s why we’re looking for you: a smart, sharp Bid Manager who sees tenders and RFPs as both a strategic game and a creative writing process. You will work in small teams on large assignments for ministries, universities, hospitals and local authorities. No two days are the same: one day you might be organising a creative writing session, the next you might be ploughing through complex documents to piece together the winning puzzle.
You open a Programme of Requirements as if it were a treasure map: what is the customer really looking for? Where are our opportunities? You quickly assess the playing field and translate that analysis into a plan that hits the mark. You gather information from across the organisation, from legal to marketing, and write texts that are legally sound and convincing. Meanwhile, you keep the schedule tight, ensure that everyone is on board and that the entire process runs smoothly from start to finish.
What are you going to do?
- You take the lead from the very first customer signal. You analyse the tender, map out the playing field and form a team that together puts together a proposition that is both strategic and convincing.
- You and your team dive into the documents, filter opportunities as if you were solving an escape room puzzle, and immediately translate those insights into a smart plan of action. Meanwhile, you have a keen sense of what the customer really wants – and you translate that into a proposal that convinces, touches and makes sense.
- During writing sessions, you are the driving force: you keep up the pace, ask sharp questions and ensure that input is transformed into rock-solid text. You provide direction, gather stories and work together to create a proposal that reads like a success story.
- If you see room for improvement – in a process, document or approach – you don’t wait. You improve, adapt, try things out. Making things better is in your system.
